Dad's Log stardate 2/28

0730 - wake up call.
0900 - breakfast at Denny's, dad meets Nate and Lisa. Cool people.
1100 - after visiting commissary and getting grub for the road, we filled up the tank and ...FINALLY hit the road. Beautiful scenery while on the road.
1500 - stopped at Roanoke, VA and filled up. we estimated that the big truck is getting 11 mpg. we are not 140 mi from Bristol, VA, which is the border of TN.
1800 - made it to Bristol, VA. stopped at Best Buy to purchase a dual A/C adapter. next stop: Nashville, TN. one A/C adapter outlet is for the cell phone/GPS and the other is for the LOUD-iPod-Shit-Music! still raining and christopher wont let me drive, so i took two pain pills for my knee. (SWEET!)
2100 - stopped at the Quality Inn in Knoxville, TN. $45+tax for the room, military rate. average is $80 for a room in the area. most are all booked due to a cheerleading conference. (sweet again!) we must stay here tonight. everyone knows we are in room 222 :)
